Finally Justine agreed to finally cut his hair short after a month of asking him. It ain't easy convincing him to cut his hair but thanks to Google where I found a pic of a cute kiddo that inspire Justine to cut his hair! So late this afternoon I immediately stop my work and brought Justine to the barbershop before he change his mind. :D
That was Justine's 3rd trip to the barbershop... Good thing he didn't had tantrums and wait patiently for his turn. And also during the cutting of his hair he was behaved as well as no signs of hesitation like crying and moving to much. (wheew)
April 8, 2011. It's a Friday and Justine's first day hi at his soon to be school this coming June. I enrolled him at Holy Trinity Montessori School for a summer class for his assessment and preparation. I choose Holy Trinity Montessori School because the tuition fee is flexible as well as not much of expensive. I also heard good feedbacks from moms who's kids have been studying in this school. And the most favorable of all is that it's just a few blocks away from our house, so we will not be worrying about traffic if we woke up late...
Justine did great! I was actually kinda nervous on how is he going to behave, is he going to cry or if is he going to let me seat beside all the time while the class is going on. I've heard a lot of moms experienced such with their kids on the first day. Well it turns out Justine's did the opposite... When we arrived he just approached the teacher seat beside her and listened. His teacher even told me after class that his very attentive.
I personally drop and fetch Justine to school right now so I kinda feel the endless task of a single parent. I now usually have 3-4 hours of sleep because I need to wake up early and prepare Justine for school. I can actually just drop him and leave but since his class is just 2 hours I just wait outside or sometimes I do leave him if I have some errands in the city like grocery or pay bills. After we arrive home from school, will then need to prepare for lunch and then do blogging and work in the afternoon until dawn. Works interrupted from time to time during late afternoon because need to take care of Justine's dinner, after that Justine's study time and then bed time. Back to work after Justine's already asleep... Tough! :D
So mommies like me how was your kids first day at school? And which school are they studying?
Yesterday I ask Justine that we are going to cut his hair short but he answered refused... So in the hope of encouragement I search on Google Images for a short hairstyles he might like and have him look at it. However, it turn out to be a not good action since he only found hairstyle to imitate for his current hair...
With a big smile he first picked this picture of Zac Efron. I bet he mistaken him of Justin Bieber...
Then he likes Taylo Lautner's hairstyle but change his mind when he realized it would mean cutting his hair short.
Then he said he like this Asian guy hairstyle. Well, this kinda more like his hairstyle now.
And then lastly, when were almost done looking around the images he catch a glimpse of Justine Bieber's shag haircut and immediately told me to go back and click the picture. He really is a fan of this Justine Bieber from this songs and fashion style, he love's imitating him. And so after seeing his picture he finally said no haircut because he wants a hair like Justin Bieber... Good thing he did not ask me to also color his hair... Whew!
My little guy is really growing fast...
My son Justine Mars is purely breastfeed until the age of 2. During the earlier months of separation, we mixed breastfeed and powdered milk, so when im at work he is going to drink powdered milk and right after I arrived from work I will breastfeed him. Until sa nasanay na si Justine sa powdered milk. First milk na binili ko for Justine was Nido 1+ but during nung times na walang-wala ako I switched to Alaska powdered milk, and then back Nido again ng makarecover ako financially. So until now Nido pa rin milk ni Justine...
For mommies out there who have Nido kids here's what I have discovered at the grocery 2 weeks ago. (Im sorry for the late post...)You can get a freebie on every purchased of Nido Fortified and Nido 5+ 900 grams. The freebie can either be a cute animal spoon & fork or a glass.
I choose the glass freebie for Justine which really help me a lot from stopping him to drink his milk from training glass. Now before he sleep he drinks his milk from the Nido glass. ;)
