Went to SM City CDO to pick my cousin's engagement ring and I tag along Justine for a mall stroll. Well, the usual since his coming with me I have to atleast buy him something. So when we went to the Department Store he saw this ball at the toy section and he exclaimed "I want a ball mom!" and then play with the balls. I was a bit hesitant on buying him since his not really fan of any ball games, but looking at him he seems to be enjoying so I bought it for him. Thanks to his Ninang Risa for the cash! :D
When we paid it at the cashier another blessing came up. The ball is buy 1, take 1 for the price of...

Oh yes! He was smiling ear-to-ear knowing he will have to balls to play on. Took a pic of him when we arrived at home.
And as usual his drama poses will always been there... Since he is in the mood to do so. :D

I also bought some goodies for us to munch on... Mine is Trolli sour glow worms coz I love it! For Justine a Ben 10 popping lollipop and that Trolli cheesecake.

Earlier today Justine was really happy that after school we didn't went home straight. Its been a while since I tag him along and he knows that if I bring him with me wherever the destination it would mean we will end up either Jollibee or McDonald. And so we did, luckily for him there's a happy meal toys available at McDonald's... Barbie for the girls and hot wheels for the boys. He requested to buy 2 happy meals and so I indulged coz his been patient walking with me as I run errands and pay bills. Here's the 2 hot wheels he got.

When we arrived home, we enjoyed sticking the stickers on the toys. It was an added bonding moment. ;)

I saw this post from the FB wall of a fellow blogger who is also a teacher in Xavier Grade School. She is actually my source on educational activities for my kiddo, I'm so glad I visited her FB wall!

The Kumon method is the mathematics and reading educational method which is practiced in Kumon's learning centers. Kumon is a math and reading enrichment program. Students do not work together as a class, but progress through the curriculum at their own pace, moving on to the next level when they have achieved mastery of the previous level. Students are guided by trained Kumon Instructors and Assistants.
Will definitely enroll Justine on this 2 week free trial. CDO moms out there you might be interested also. :)

Today is Justine's first day of monthly exam... During exam week his schedule is earlier than the usual class schedule. On our way to his school he blurted a random request. He ask if he could have his haircut after his exam. He remembered his tita Ezel who visited last Sunday at the house, saying he looks handsome when his hair is cut short and that he should cut his hair now coz its already long. And he even requested that we will go to Reyes Haircutters and not at the nearby barbershop at his school. I answered okay we will go there. Taking advantage of his good mood since ive been convincing him for a long time to cut his hair short.

However, I never expect there was hidden agenda for that request also. After his exam he happily came and mention another request... He told me that his hungry and we should eat first at Jollibee near Reyes Haircutters. Clever kid you bet! He still remember that there was a Jollibee near that salon and so he pick that place to cut his hair. And so wish granted...
We went to Jollibee, he had his snack and I had my brunch... Photo below is our drinks, I had my fave coffee float and Justine tried the new University float Blue.

Unluckily for me... Theres a Jolly Kiddie meal toy available. The Green Force Collection for the boys and cherry toys for the girls. Thank God he didn't ask me to buy all 2 choices for The Green Force Collection. And he just choose 1 which is the energy spinner.

After Jollibee of we went to Reyes Haircutters of which right accross the block. We waited for long because there's a lot of costumers. When its his turn, I should the barber an image from my phone coz I save his desired hairstyle.
He actually tried this cut before check it out here for the story behind it. :D While the barbers busy cutting his hair, he keeps on telling not to cut it too short but I secretly told the barber to cut it shorter. This time it was just hair scissors use not the electric hair shaver. He was also used with blades to shave down little hairs. Good thing he is so behave coz I was really afraid he might get cut.

After that he enjoyed much the hair wash... His laugh filled the whole salon. Justine is really a ticklish kid I dont know where he got it since im not a ticklish person.

Justine's class today is in the morning since its a first Friday of the month. Every first Friday, his school has a mass and catholic students are encouraged to attend. And then class will resume right after the mass for the Pre-school morning and afternoon session. Friday is also PE day and his assignment was to bring ingredients for a play dough. Their activity was to make a play dough out of flour, salt and oil mixed together and then hand-knead after.

When its time to go home, every kids that comes out from the classroom wears a big smile and busy telling their moms what they made. This is not Justine's first in making a play dough but he is still very excited and  enthusiastically telling me what his teacher thought them today.

After arriving home, Justine and I played with the play dough he made. We have form lots of food. He then reminded that his teacher told them not to eat the dough but just play with it. Hmmm... he do listen to his teacher! :D

Here are some of his art of which he made alone...

Here's another collectibles at Mcdonald. A 6 set of Coca Cola London 2012 Olympic games glass. Justine and I manage to collect almost all glasses last year. Im not just sure this year if we will.

Add P25 to your Medium Big N' Tasty Value Meal and also get a limited-edition Coca-Cola Olympic Games Glass!

Went grocery with Justine today and we drop by at the Department Store to buy some new things he need like towels and a school water bottle. As expected you cant go out if you don't buy toys. And since he didn't get that Bent 10 lunch pack set that he wanted so much. I end up buying him toys in exchange.
First toy spotted is this anime jigsaw puzzle. He really loves anime.

Next one is this Distortion Android toy. This is a robot that will transform into a battle car. He already has several transformer like toys the first one I bought at his birthday last year that transforms into a yellow car.

He really likes constructive toys like this. And I also tolerate buying him transformer toys because it enhances his creativity and really practice his patience. Justine is very impatient but when it comes to assembling this toy his very eager to finish it alone even if he is having hard time already. He sometimes ask help but when he got an idea while watching me assembling the toy he gets it back, finish it himself.

Better late than never...
Justine really felt so bad that he didnt gave anything to his teachers today for Valentines while some of his classmates did. So he ask me to make a heart for the card. I was working so mom had to cut the heart shape cards. After awhile when all the cards are ready i prepared his message on his card after that he said "okay mommy can help me mom you can now go back to work" and start writing the messages to the cards for his 3 teachers. He even offer his chocolates. Ah my sweet little terrorist is really growing up... ;)
It really touches me that in his own little way he shows care and understanding to me. Earlier today when I was about to go out and buy dinner, he ask "Are going out mom? Are you going to just walk?" and I jokingly answer "Yes im just going to walk" he replied worriedly "You don't have any money? Okay then walk slowly, and do not run okay?". On my way out I was really laughing and at the same time was touched.
This isn't the first but one of those caring moments that we had. It kinda comfort me that at his age he understands me in a way that I am the sole provider and protector. And so sometimes he also does the same to me even though he is naughty most the time but he would often "kick my bum" to remind my responsibility. If I got lazy to go to work, he would remind me that I wont have money if i dont work and my boss will be mad at me. If im still not sleeping while he already woke up in the morning he would tell me to let his kuya or others to take him to school even he wanted it to be me. If he see me not yet eating he would make tantrums not to eat so I can eat with him or more often he would he just simply demand "you should eat already mom!".

Earlier today Janlac and I went Novo together. We saw this cool kids shoes on sale and Janlac remember to buy it for Justine as a late Christmas gift. I was so happy and thankful that she remembered to buy Justine a gift because before it use to be me whose always reminding her to buy gift for Justine. I didn't remind her for a gift coz last December Janlac's family was also one of the victims at the Sendong flash flood, their house was covered with mud all over and the laptops and cellphones are the only things they have brought for safety. Amidst the unfortunate experienced Janlac still remains generous.
Anyways, when I arrived home as expected was happy recieving a gift. And immediately tried it. The shoes can be worn with and without socks.

After the fitting, I ask him to pose a pic that I will send to his Tita Janlac as thank you message. He immediately came up with a drama series pic. Which showcase his brilliant acting and directing talent. :D This is all his idea and all I did was clicking on the camera.

Thank you Tita Janlac!
