August 27, 2010 It was Justine's 5th birthday. I only plan for a small preparation good for our family and Justine's closest playmates in the neighborhood. I've been promising to buy him a big character cake a few months before his birthday so its one thing I did not forgot. As I book for the reservation of the cake they offer me balloons at a cheap price and so I included it. I also prepare loot bags that Justine will be giving to his friends.
On the day of his birthday my mom and a neighbor friend help each other prepare the food. At the afternoon I took Justine to the church to attend a mass. I ask my cousin to pick-up the cake and balloon so that Justine will be surprise. When we arrived at the house he was indeed surprised because he has 2 cakes! And oh me too was surprised. My former boss ask my colleagues to buy a birthday cake for Justine without me knowing and they delivered it at the house since 1 of them know my house address already. I was really surprised and thankful specially seeing Justine happy face feasting at his cakes. Later on, Justine also had fun playing with his friends and giving them his birthday loot bags and balloons...

Last Sunday I spent my time shopping and strolling with mama and Justine at Limketkai. It was actually the first time I get to bring mama at the mall since she doesn't like going to Malls. We had a great time that day specially me. I was so happy seeing both mama and Justine having fun at the Toy Kingdom rides, buying dresses, t-shirts, toys and food trip. Although nakakainis lang minsan kasi ang kulit-kulit ni Justine takbo ng takbo kung saan marami pa namang tao sa mall.
Our last stop was Missy Bon Bon. I treat mom and Justine since I often take home cakes from Missy Bon Bon and his loving it, now I wanna let them the Gelato which I cant take home since it melts fast. Mom was having hard time picking what bread to eat since according to her "all are delicious!" until she choose the Sliced Orange Cake. While Justine run immediately to the cakes section and pick the Caramel Cheese Cake. As for me I tried the drink that is new to my eyes - the Ice Coffee drink, I love it! Another additional favorite that will let me come again in Missy Bon Bon. And ofcourse we ordered Gelato in which Justine cried out for Blueberry Cheese Gelato, mom had the Mango flavor and I had Tiramisu.
While my buddy (Prixie and Machingan as I call them, hehehe) will help me a lot with my work. Justine's will also help him a lot in his learning. Just recently I found this perfect buddy for Justine. He has been enjoying it very much as well as very happy playing with it. I was glad to found this new buddy for Justine because it would really help me a lot. Not only in entertaining him so that he wont bother me while I'm working but also it help me teach Justine some basic learning. The features of Justine's buddy is that it helps him learn the numbers, alphabets, children songs, spelling of the word, pronunciation of the word, matching the words and it also has a game that will let him look for the number and alphabet (Its actually like a quiz that will ask him; Where is the letter J?). And to think, I just bought it for Php 120 ($3 in USD)! I would encourage other moms to buy it too because it so perfect for learning kiddos. I also bought Justine a new notebook where it really matches his buddy since he learn to draw the letters in it. Now I don't have much problem keeping Justine busy. Although there are times when he still disturbs me when he wants me to guide him in playing with his buddy or when I want silence and his buddy is so noisy dictating alphabets, numbers and words.
Justine just had his first barber experience today this wasn't his first visit but this was his first successful haircut. When we first visit the Barber Shop he was hysterically crying because he doesn't want his hair cut. He was very afraid that time. Now he was very behave well at first but when he saw his hair was no longer long and feels itchy at the cut hair falling in his neck he started his dramatic cry and keeps on moving. Thankfully it ended well and Justine finally survive his first hair cut at the barbershop.

August 27, 2009. The birthday of my Justine Mars, he is turning 4 years old already. Mom and I prepared a little something for him that day. I was supposed to be at work but when I went home in the afternoon I changed my mine and skipped work to take care of him and help mom prepare the foods. At 6:00 PM we went to church to attend the mass and after that we bought cake at Cinnamon. When we arrived in the house we eat the food we prepare along with Justiine's close playmates, neighbors and long missed Tita's (Recy, Mechelle and Gretch).
Seeing Justine's happy face was all worth it after the night end. And suddenly, I was having all this dramatic feeling that soon enough he will grow up and will no longer be my little pumpkin. lols
